My thoughts this week............thankfulness for less doing and more being this week

I am hearing..... the sound of a wheelbarrow as my husband is busy in the garden

From the study window …. I can see the birds on the feeder, sparrows, a variety of tits, chaffinches and blackbirds scavenging through the shrubs.

I am thankful for......so many things but especially family as I prepare and look forward to a family meal on Monday

I am wearing...black skirt and shirt, a multi-coloured top, lilac scarf , earrings and bracelet.

I am going ........to a meeting later on today.

One of my favourite things........a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary which sits on my small windowsill, she has reminded me so often of Mary's discipleship and obedience to God.

I am hoping......to complete all the paperwork in my tray by tomorrow

Around the house...everything is tidy in readiness for our family gathering

I am creating......some new cards, an embroidered cushion and some home décor

I am reading...................some Joyce Rupp who writes in one of her poems "Awaken Me".............
"Lure me into elation.
Revive my silent hope.
Coax my dormant dreams.
Raise up my neglected gratitude.
Entice my tired enthusiasm.
Gove life to me faltering relationships.
Roll back my stone of indifference.
Unwrap the deadness in my spiritual life.
Impart heartiness in my work."

What a Prayer !!!!

I am pondering...........on the life of a person who will be commended to God's safekeeping later this week.

I am remembering..............some friends from the past

A picture for thought I am sharing......

as we look forward to warmer weather, the flowers, the birds and the bees.
